Cardiac Sarcoidosis: A Literature Review of Current Recommendations on Diagnosis and Management

Cardiac sarcoidosis (CS) is a rare multisystem disorder characterized by granulomatous infiltration of the myocardium, which can lead to significant morbidity and mortality. Its clinical manifestations range from asymptomatic conduction abnormalities severe heart failure (HF) sudden cardiac death. This comprehensive review aims provide an overview diagnosis, features, current medical management strategies for CS. Additionally, role implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) potential use positron emission tomography in guiding decisions are explored. A understanding CS essential improving patient outcomes future research endeavors.
